The 2025-26 Gallagher Premiership Rugby season is reaching its conclusion as four clubs prepare for the play-off semi-finals this weekend. Northampton Saints will host Leicester Tigers at cinch Stadium @ Franklin’s Gardens on Friday, June 12, 2026, while Bath Rugby welcome Exeter Chiefs to The Rec on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

The winners will meet in the Gallagher Premiership Final at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

TNT Sports and the HBO Max streaming service serve as the primary broadcasters for the competition in the United Kingdom. Since March 26, 2026, all digital coverage has migrated from Discovery+ to HBO Max, where fans can stream every single fixture live.

This transition is part of a long-term domestic broadcast rights partnership that TNT Sports extended through the 2030/31 season. Fans can still access the network via traditional Sky, BT, EE, or Virgin Media TV packages.

The league has seen increased engagement this year following a landmark 2024-25 campaign. Simon Massie-Taylor, Chief Executive of PREM Rugby, confirmed that viewership on TNT Sports rose by 28% last season. The current 10-team roster includes Newcastle Red Bulls, formerly known as Newcastle Falcons, playing under new ownership.

This weekend’s semi-finals follow a competitive regular season where Bath, the reigning champions, finished strongly after winning their seventh league title in 2025.

Free-to-air coverage remains a core part of the tournament’s reach through ITV and its streaming platform, ITVX. Under a renewed two-year deal, ITV broadcasts seven live matches per season and provides weekly highlights via “Gallagher PREM Unleashed.”

Most notably, the Gallagher Premiership Final on June 20, 2026, will be aired for free on ITV’s television channels and ITVX. This approach mirrors shifts in other sports where technical reliability is paramount, though streaming glitch incidents can occasionally disrupt the viewer experience during major openers.

International streaming options for the United States and Canada

Fans in the United States can watch every Gallagher Premiership match live on FloRugby. Subscription options include a rolling monthly plan at $39.99 or a $155.88 annual subscription, which averages to $12.99 per month. Additionally, FloRugby offers plans starting at $29.99 per month or $150 for an annual commitment.

Phil Wendler, executive vice president of global rights for FloSports, noted the platform is doubling down on its investment by providing over 1,000 matches annually across various rugby competitions.

Canadian viewers can access the season’s matches through Sportsnet and the Sportsnet Plus streaming service. Pricing for Sportsnet Plus starts at $24.99 per month or $199.99 for an annual pass. For those travelling abroad, VPN services like NordVPN are often used to access home streaming accounts from different regions.

This level of accessibility is becoming vital as fans track the latest sport news updates regarding domestic and international club fixtures.

Southern Hemisphere and European broadcast details

In Australia, Stan Sport remains the home for live and on-demand Gallagher Premiership coverage with no ad-breaks in play. Adding Stan Sport to a standard Stan plan costs $20 per month. New Zealand audiences can tune in via Sky Sport NZ or the Sky Sport Now service. Sky Sport Now provides monthly subscriptions for $54.

99 or day passes for $29.99 for those only interested in specific play-off fixtures.

French viewers have a unique low-cost option for the current play-off rounds. Janusport is providing free live streams of both semi-finals via its Twitch and YouTube channels. Elsewhere, SuperSport covers Sub-Saharan Africa, while Nova TV serves Czechia and Slovakia. These global partnerships ensure a broad audience for the high-stakes matches this weekend.

Pressure in these knockouts remains high, similar to how Gerwyn Price beats Luke Littler in tense professional darts showdowns.

Upcoming semi-final fixture schedule

The semi-final stage features two distinct clashes at historic English rugby venues. The Friday night East Midlands derby in Northampton is followed by the Saturday afternoon meeting in Bath. Both matches determine who will lift the trophy at Twickenham next Saturday.

  • Northampton Saints v Leicester Tigers: Friday, June 12, 2026, 7.45pm BST (cinch Stadium @ Franklin’s Gardens)
  • Bath Rugby v Exeter Chiefs: Saturday, June 13, 2026, 3.00pm BST (The Rec, Bath)

Ealing Trailfinders, winners of the 2024-25 RFU Championship, were unable to join the top flight this season as they did not meet minimum standards criteria. This has preserved the 10-team structure for the 2025-26 campaign. With the final scheduled for June 20, the league is set to crown its champion exactly nine months after the season began on September 25, 2025.
