This weekend’s UFC will see a rematch between Marcin Tybura and Serghei Spivac at UFC Vegas 95. This rematch is 4 years in the making and will see two of the top 10 heavyweights square off against each other.
Marcin Tybura has been able to do it all inside the UFC besides fighting for a title. This will be Tybura’s 20th appearance for the UFC and he has been able to win more than he has lost against some of the best heavyweights of this generation. This will also be Tybura’s 3rd straight Fight Night main event appearance so he must be doing something right.
On the other side of this main event, Serghei Spivac has become one of the heavyweight’s most intriguing fighters. Currently, he has a UFC record of 7-4 and is only 29 years old. That is very young for a heavyweight and since losing to Marcin Tybura last time around he has won six of his last 8 fights. His only setbacks in that time have come against Ciryl Gane and Tom Aspinall and there is no shame in losing to them.
Also on this weekend’s card, we will see a penultimate bout banger between Damon Jackson and Chepe Mariscal. UFC veteran Chris Gutierrez will be welcoming Quang Le to the UFC while Yana Santos will face a do-or-die matchup against Chelsea Chandler.
