The Bermuda Cricket Board announced the Under-19 select team will be going on tour to Atlanta, Georgia, USA departing today.
A spokesperson said, “The exact travel dates have been arranged from August 12 to August 19, 2024, where the team will be training daily and playing a total of three matches.
“The coaching staff will consist of Head Coach Janeiro Tucker, Assistant Coach Courtney Trott, Manager Terry Thomas, as well as Assistant Manager Stacey O’Brien.
“The select team will consist of the following members:
- Zakao Hart
- Enrique Minks
- Xavien James
- Callum McIntosh
- Sa-Qui Robinson
- Luke Horan
- Cadence Douglas
- Isaiah O’Brien
- Keegan Jones
- Zeri Tomlinson
- Zaki Gibbons-DeShields
- Luke Fulton
- Jahmi Douglas
Coach Janeiro Tucker stated, “I think this is a good opportunity for our U19’s to get additional experience and increased international cricket exposure. This opportunity will broaden the players’ knowledge of the game by playing against other high caliber U19 teams. The core focus is to prepare them for the ICC U19 World Cup Qualifiers, scheduled for 2025. This tour has been made possible through our partners in India that hosted the Senior Men’s National Team earlier this year. They have assisted President Lloyd Smith with arranging match fixtures in Atlanta.”
