Members of a Devon cricket membership are “devasted’ and “heartbroken” after a fireplace destroyed their clubhouse.
Devon and Somerset Hearth and Rescue Service stated crews had been known as to the blaze at Heathcoat Cricket Membership’s wood cricket Pavillion close to Tiverton at 05:22 BST, and located the constructing absolutely engulfed by flames.
Membership members stated the constructing – located within the grounds of the Nationwide Belief’s Knightshayes Courtroom – had been utterly destroyed.
The hearth service stated the reason for the blaze was not but identified.

A Nationwide Belief spokesperson confirmed Knightshayes Courtroom has now reopened to guests, however the parkland automotive park remained closed.
