From UCLA:

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men’s basketball team will face Arizona in a multi-year series with games scheduled in three of the next four seasons, as announced by UCLA and Arizona on Tuesday.

The Bruins will take on Arizona at Footprint Center in Phoenix on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024. In addition, UCLA and Arizona will face each other in neutral-site contests in 2025-26 at the Hall of Fame Series in Las Vegas and in 2027-28 at a neutral site in Los Angeles.

“We look forward to facing Arizona next season in Phoenix,” said Mick Cronin, The Michael Price Family UCLA Men’s Head Basketball Coach. “It’s a win-win situation for both UCLA and Arizona, as we want to preserve what has turned into a fantastic basketball rivalry out West. These are two schools with strong basketball traditions and passionate fan bases, and it’s important for us to find ways to continue playing each other. I have a lot of respect for Tommy Lloyd and the job that he has done the past three seasons at Arizona. His teams are talented and well-coached. Adding Arizona to our schedule next season will help our team as we move into Big Ten Conference play.”

Game times and television information for UCLA’s upcoming games against Arizona will be announced at a later date. Tickets for the upcoming Dec. 14 game in Phoenix will be on sale starting this Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m. (PT) by visiting footprintcenter.com. Tickets sold within the UCLA section will be available to Wooden Athletic Fund members and UCLA men’s basketball season ticket holders at a later date.

UCLA has compiled an all-time record of 63-50 against Arizona in a series that first began in 1923. The two programs faced off three times in the 1950s, four times in the 1960s and every season from 1979 through 2024, once Arizona joined UCLA in the Pac-10. With UCLA now in the Big Ten Conference and Arizona in the Big 12 Conference, the two programs will be facing each other in nonconference action.

While the Bruins’ nonconference slate has not been finalized, UCLA will play three neutral-site contests in Dec. 2024, before entering the bulk of the Big Ten Conference schedule. On consecutive Saturdays, UCLA will play Arizona (in Phoenix on Dec. 14), North Carolina at the CBS Sports Classic (at Madison Square Garden in New York on Dec. 21) and Gonzaga at the West Coast Hoops Showdown (at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on Dec. 28).
